Betula Lake:

Betula Lake is located along P.T.H. #307 in the Whiteshell Provincial Park. The lake is a popular recreational area. It has mountain biking opportunities including a 4.2 km / 2.6 mi. designated trail that starts next to the Cook Shack. There are 168 cottages located along the southern shoreline of Betula Lake. In addition, there is a large sandy beach with public access, 26 campsites, and 22 seasonal campsites, along with Betula Resort. The entire eastern and northern shoreline is undeveloped and serves as part of the Whiteshell River canoe route through Betula Lake. Just north of Betula Lake along the Whiteshell River is a series of rapids and falls which are accessible from the Pine Point hiking trail.

Ski Bees:

The Ski Bees were founded in the 1950's, the Betula Lake Water Ski Club is one of the largest water ski clubs in Manitoba. We are non-profit organization made up of over 100 members of all ages and abilities. Our members are actively involved in water ski shows, waterski/wakeboard tournaments, clinics, social events, and various other activities, which serve to promote the sport of, water skiing/wakeboarding. If you know of any one who has pictures of Ski Bees of the past please forward them to us. Stories and other information would be greatly appreciated as well.

Ski Bee Summer Events:

Betula Lake Ski Club is looking forward to an action packed summer of events on the water. I looks like the weather may cooperate for us this year. We have secured the permit for the slalom course, jump and docks at our site for this season. We have several other activities as listed below throughout the summer. We plan to conclude the season with the 4th Annual Poker Derby and Pig Roast on September 3. We will be soliciting for prizes for this event, so all donations will be greatly appreciated.
