Reminder - Get your Competitive License today!
A WSWC Competitive License is in addition to whatever competitive membership
may be required by your Regional/Provincial Association. Licenses are sold
by discipline (i.e. classic, barefoot, wakeboard, disabled, racing). The
price for a single competitive license is $40. Athletes wishing to have
competitive licenses for more than one discipline will pay $40 for the first
discipline, and $15 per additional discipline.

Kyle Kiwi Eade, took a crash while waterski jumping in February in New Zealand. Friends of Kyle have set up an online auction to help raise funds for him which will coincide with the Masters water-ski tournament May 28 - 30, 2010.

MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour
One of our own Manitoba riders has made the Mastercraft Pro Wakeboard Tour
in the US! Jason Bannatyne, who has been training in the US since March,
has qualified in the first two stops of the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour
and will now compete with top wakeboarders in the world at the final three
tour stops Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Colorado Springs, Colorado; and
Knoxville, Tennessee this summer. Good Luck Jason!

| Taryn Grant's dreams take big jumps |
| Taryn Grant has some pretty big dreams, and one of those includes a trip to Italy this August to compete at the junior world water ski championships. On the world ranking list she is currently 7th in slalom, 8th in jump and 11th overall.The 15-year-old Winnipegger’s chances of getting there would appear pretty good, especially since she was recently named by Water Ski Wakeboard Canada as the 2009 Junior Skier of the Year.

Jay Bay School of Wake provides an enjoyable experience if you have a
desire to learn or enhance your skills in wakeboarding. Both Jason and
our boat drivers have St. Johns Ambulance and CPR training. Coaches
have Certification for wakeboard coaching and the mandatory
“Respect in Sports” sponsored by Sport Manitoba.
